Accompanied by leaders from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and representatives from the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Delegation, our association's president, Chen Jianxin, visited the Kyrgyz National Railway Company (Ministry of Railways of the Kyrgyz Republic), the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Communications for in-depth discussions.
The delegation was hosted throughout the visit by Nurbol, Deputy Minister of Investment and Strategic Partnerships with Government Agencies of Kyrgyzstan; Azamat Sakiiev, General Director of Kyrgyzstan National Railway; and other government officials, alongside representatives from Kyrgyz enterprises. Prior to the meetings, the delegation conducted on-site inspections of Kyrgyzstan National Railway's main lines and hub operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the current state of local railway infrastructure.
During the meeting, both sides focused on core topics including the regular operation of international container trains and the advancement path for the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Project. They engaged in in-depth discussions on specific cooperation directions such as railway transportation collaboration, cargo sourcing, and allocation. Building on the solid foundation of prior research, the exchanges were pragmatic and efficient, with consensus reached on multiple cooperative approaches, laying a solid foundation for long-term cooperation in the railway sector between China and Kyrgyzstan. That afternoon, Chen Jianxin, President of the Association, accompanied leaders from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and representatives from the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Delegation to visit the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic. They were warmly received by Deputy Minister Bekzhan Bazarbayevich Rismendiev and his delegation.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on core topics including local transportation infrastructure development plans, optimization of transportation management systems, and strategic layouts for the communications industry. They focused on practical cooperation pathways in transportation construction, exchanging views thoroughly. The meeting proceeded efficiently and concisely. Through precise alignment of needs, consensus was reached on multiple cooperation directions, laying a crucial foundation for advancing the implementation of specific projects in the future.
The Association continues to serve as a vital bridge, elevating China-Kyrgyzstan cooperation in infrastructure to new heights and injecting sustained momentum into the Belt and Road Initiative.
