Accompanied by leaders from the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and representatives from the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Delegation, our Association President Chen Jianxin visited the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. There, he engaged in substantive discussions with Yu Zhigang, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, and relevant officials. The delegation also conducted an on-site inspection of a Chinese-funded mining enterprise in Kyrgyzstan.
During the symposium, our Association President provided a detailed report on the outcomes achieved during this visit in areas such as advancing the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway and coordinating China-Europe freight train services, as well as progress in business cooperation between Guangdong enterprises and local entities. The Embassy affirmed the delegation's achievements and, based on local conditions, offered professional guidance on cooperation opportunities, risk prevention, and policy support in the aforementioned fields. They pledged to maintain close and effective communication with our Association, fully committed to building a solid bridge for China-Kyrgyzstan enterprise cooperation and providing comprehensive safeguards. Both sides also exchanged views on deepening multi-sector business cooperation and optimizing the project implementation environment. This further consolidated the consensus on government-enterprise collaboration to advance the Belt and Road Initiative, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of future cooperation.
That afternoon, CCI President Chen Jianxin accompanied leaders from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and representatives from the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan economic and trade delegation to conduct an on-site inspection of a Chinese-funded mining enterprise in Kyrgyzstan. They engaged in in-depth discussions with the mine's manager, Mr. Liang.
Through visits to the mining area, production workshops, and supporting facilities, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the mine's extraction and operation model, safety production management, and industrial chain layout. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including mineral resource development cooperation, industrial chain synergy, and the development environment for Chinese and Kyrgyz enterprises in the region. The mine manager provided a detailed introduction to operational experiences in Kyrgyzstan, market opportunities, and cooperation needs. This inspection enabled the team to gain firsthand insights into the current development status of Chinese enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, accumulating valuable information for advancing cooperation in relevant fields.
