China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Delegation's Visit to Uzbekistan: High-Level Promotion and Signing Ceremonies Jointly Advance Belt and Road Industrial Projects

On August 1, 2025, under the leadership of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, the Belt and Road Economic and Trade Cooperation Alliance and the Guangzhou Modern Information Service Industry Association served as organizers. Accompanied by leaders from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and representatives from the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Delegation, our association's president, Chen Jianxin, attended a high-level promotional symposium held at the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He represented the association at the signing ceremony between used car enterprises and local Uzbek partner companies.

Over 60 participants attended the meeting, where foreign dignitaries including Sultanbek Imamov, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, and Umid Ubaydullaev, Advisor to the Governor of Tashkent Province and Head of the Department of Commerce, met and exchanged views with the delegation representatives. The association has maintained close ties with the Uzbek Consulate General in Guangzhou, and this meeting further solidified the foundation for collaboration. During the meeting, high-level government and business representatives from both countries engaged in in-depth discussions on multi-sector cooperation, while enterprises from the delegation conducted targeted business matching with Uzbek counterparts.
Through high-level coordination, the association facilitated precise resource alignment at this promotion event. Building upon its solid cooperative foundation, it laid a robust groundwork for industrial connectivity and project implementation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
That afternoon, Association President Chen Jianxin accompanied leaders from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and representatives from the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan economic and trade delegation to attend a signing ceremony between used car enterprises and local Uzbek partners, advancing cooperation in the used vehicle sector. The Association will continue to serve as a bridge, enhancing the international competitiveness of the industry and contributing tangible achievements to the industrial connectivity of the Belt and Road Initiative.
